THE MALAYSIANS

Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:35 pm

Why are we still referring to Vincent Tan and TG as 'The Malaysians'... they are now
an integral (the) integral part of Cardiff City Football Club. many have met them,
TG has made himself approachable and has had conversations with lots of supporters
and supporters groups. These fellers have NAMES, and we all know them. everywhere
I look its 'Malaysian' this or 'Malaysian' that. The names are Vincent Tan and TG :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I find the whole 'Malaysian' thing rather rude, and certainly not welcoming

Rant over, ciao for now :D

Perhaps it's because they are Malaysian? :dontknow: :dontknow:

As a collective, (as there are more than two of them including family) what do you want to call them that would differentiate them from other investors? Just a though TaffyApple?

Erm, that's because they ARE Malaysians and EVERONE knows who we are referring to!! ;)

In their case it's not disrespectful; it's simply an endearment and no different to when we refer to them as VT and TG
8-)

We can't call them Niggers cos they're not from Nigeria, can't call them Paki's as their not from Pakistan, they from Malaysia so to avoid being arrested by the police for "rascism" it is safe to call them Malaysians. On the other hand, if they are not from Malaysia, I know I've spelt it wrong but don't give a shit, I'll be arrested and put in prison for the rest of my life. Dam good thing I'm a lesbian.

Willy is a lesbian :ayatollah:

Shouldn't really do the ayatollah thing really should I, be stoned to death probably. Well, as a muslim lady myself, lets rip of the covers and show our titties to the lads. We shave properly ;)

Why ? No different to saying here come the Welsh the Scott's or the Irish . If speaking to them face to face then yes, but where using in general chatter, it's not an issues at all imo.

yes this is a good point...after all if we were owned by English people would we refere to them as "THE ENGLISH"

Re: THE MALAYSIANS

Just to be helpful along with Dato Tien Ghee Chan (TG) we also have Len Win Kong (LWK) Meng Kwong Lim (MKL) & Derek Chee Seng Chin (DCSC) on the board of directors along with VT (Vincent Tan) as the major shareholder.

I don't know about you, but I think for practicality reasons 'the Malaysians' might be the best way of remembering them all
