Question From A Saints Fan Regarding Bubble Games

Tue Nov 08, 2011 7:39 pm

You may have heard that the OB have, in their wisdom, made our games with Pompey bubble games now.

They say holding fans back is an infringement of human rights, but bubble games aren't because you have a choice - go or don't.

The question I have for you is: do CCFC post out coach passes?

SFC won't post out coach passes meaning fans from outside the area who buy in the general sale window will have a week before the game to drive to the ticket office to pick it up. The ticket office will be closed on the day. And to add insult to injury the club are charging a 3 pound booking fee. I have rang up the club and they say that the police have stipulated that all coach passes must be collected, so I thought i'd check with bluebirds fans to see whether it's the same for you.

we buy our ticket in the form of a voucher, all buses have to depart from ccs and then the voucher is exchanged for match ticket.that was the situation when we played the jerks.

Yeah we have to jump through hoops and fill in a ballot form, to get a coach pass (with match tickets handed out on the coach), but the club say the OB won't allow them to post out the coach pass. I wondered whether CCFC post them out and therefore SFC are not posting them out to rip us off despite charging a 3 quid booking fee that usually covers postage. For fans living miles away we've got to fork out to personally collect coach passes during a week long window just before christmas. For me that means 60 quid in diesel just to pick up a coach pass.

Maybe a few well connected fans could, but most couldn't. You're better off catching it on a free stream on the internet or something and waiting until they decide to ease the ridiculous restrictions.
