Somehow feels that the pressure and the expectation that has hung over us over the last few years has lifted. Prima donnas have gone and hungry new players and a manager with dignity and desire have replaced them bringing a great work and team ethic.
Still early days mind but we are now a team not just a bunch of players.

I agree its early days, but just getting rid of those Prima donnas and that arrogant/pig headed manager made my season before it started, then having someone like Malky was the icing on the cake .

I hate to sound gay but I'm just enjoying the ride!

Love the fight and finally we are a big game team again. I fancy us against any of the big boys and even though the atmosphere needs improving, the CCS is becoming a bit of a fortress.

Put it this way, I fancy us to win the play-offs should we reach them!

the way we are playing and hopefully strengthen when we can i would fancy our chances in the play offs
under malky we will lose games maybe ones we should have won but ive always said its not the losing its the way we lose and im sure under malky the team will lose fighting and giving their all unlike under jones where we lost games due to gutless and passionless performances..

I'm with you 100% here Annis as the last time I have enjoyed watching the City as much was back in the early nineties with the Eddie May team. I know we have had promotions, Cup Finals and Play Off Finals since but EM team played good football and respected us fans just like this team.

For all the supposed quality of our attacking players last season we have scored exactly the same number of goals this season as last after 16 games. Including the Carling Cup we have scored first in over 80% of our matches and with the team getting used to one another and looking defensively stronger things are looking much better than any of us could have imagined.

I just hope we can add a couple of players in January MM and the team deserve it.

I was a Jones supporter and make no apologies for that but always felt that when we had to win the 'cruicial' games like Sheffield Wednesday away, Portsmouth in the FA Cup Final, Blackpool in the Play Off Final, Middlesboro and Reading at home we were found wanting.

However I really feel that if we can force our way into the Play Offs under Malky I would back us against any other team and know that this team and every single player would give 100% to get us promoted i couldn't honestly say that was the case previously

I have never been happier watching the City!!

Not sure if we have ever had a season where 16 different players have scored at this stage of the season but it is the best we have achieved during the past 10 years.

Only 3 times in the last 10 years, this season makes 4, have we had 10 or more different players scoring at this stage of the season. Besides this season the next best was 12 players scoring during the 2007-08 season with the worst being only 6 players scoring during the 2008-09 season.

As you say goals throughout the team which is a huge positive.

Totally agree, when I take my seat behind the goal in the family stand a take a look over at the dugout and see MM screaming orders to the players in his touch line box for a full 90 mins it feels me with such belief that we are finally going in the right direction.

This season I have really enjoyed it so far and may it continue, agree that the feeling is totally different to last year and finishing in the top 6 will be a bonus, who knows we may even do a lot better.

Even i enjoy going more than i have in the last 4 years and Cardiff are only my second team but it's the passion in the team i like to see and boy are they playing for each other!

Under Jones you didn't know what team was going to turn up. Under Malky we are guaranteed a battling team.
Yes we will suffer some defeats along the way, but there's no doubt this team of ours will fight right to the end.
I can see play offs on the horizon, maybe even automatic - who knows ?

I am happy with progress and optimistic so why so much grief about atmosphere/standing etc.
Lets just support the team, and also support the club by standers moving to the Canton.
The days of Ninian and surrounding the opposing fans are gone.

Something will go wrong, always has, always will. The Malaysian's will pull out, the "Trust" buys the club for 3 shillings, a signed Welsh Rugby top and a lifetimes subscription to the Guardian. All "fans of Cardiff City" will be banned from attending the stadium on match days as will supporters of the away team in order to prevent "trouble". In order to preserve the atmosphere, supporters will be permitted to sit in the carpark, in an environmentally appropriate manner and sing Kumbaya (tambourines will be banned obviously, too many sharp edges). In the interests of preserving the Welsh language, Official card carrying members of the Socialist Party of Wales will be permitted to sing, softly, Cwm by Yer as a non rascist, non confrontational option, hands must be sat on at all times otherwise serious sanctions will be imposed, in the true spirit of left wing nonsense, one out all out, one banned yer all fecking banned.

I hate sounding gay as well Zabier but I have stuck with your 'free love season' idea ever since you suggested it in pre-season. It's worked a treat so far as I have just sat back and enjoyed the effort and endeavour put in by the players. Also I'm not getting wound up over the atmosphere at CCS because for some strange mystical reason we are becoming unbeatable at home.

Personally I put the reason down to the exorcism of Dave Jones and Peter Ridsdale from our club by our high priest Annis of Abraham using his various ‘soul crew’ bibles, but that as they say is another story (or book).....
