" SHOULD HAVE THE BIGGEST CROWD OF THE SEASON "
THANK YOU BLUEBIRDS SUPPORTERS
Saturday's great result coincided with us having the second biggest attendance in the Championship here at Cardiff City Stadium with a crowd of 22,032. This figure was also bigger than three Premier League fixtures over the weekend.
Our attendances here at Cardiff City Stadium have been superb - even in this time of economic slowdown, Bluebirds supporters are still turning up in their droves.
We have a record level of Ambassadors and Season Ticket Holders this season and, as a way of saying a big 'thank you' to each and every one of you, we will be holding a special day. Our home fixture against Middlesbrough on Saturday 17th December will be Ambassador Day.
Ambassadors can bring guests to the game for just £10 Adults and £5 Concessions. These tickets are subject to availability. Premier Club members will be contacted with special offers as well, while we'll also be producing a special Ambassador match-day programme with plenty of pull-out offers and discounts for you to enjoy!
Ambassador Day will be the Bluebirds' final fixture before Christmas, meaning this will be a festive themed event on and off the pitch! We will also be holding a special draw for Ambassadors in order to give away four season tickets (one in each stand) for the 2012/13 season. In addition, there will be a bumper 50/50 draw with some great prizes up for grabs!
Further information will be brought to you as the game approaches. Once again, we'd like to thank all our supporters for turning up week in week out. The message coming from City supporters is clear - I'll Be There.

Like it. Big match, anyway, but they've now made it better.
I'm dead keen on the other things they've mentioned, too, especially the free season ticket for next year. I'm being made redundant next month, so any freebies are welcome.

May be the club are worried that everyone is still traumatized from the Middlesbrough fixture last year

Didn't we sell out against Leicester in the play-off semi-final ?

Thinking even more about it, didn't we have a few 'home sell-outs' last season, when Bellamy (remember him?) first joined?
