Our ticket office is a proper shambles. I bought a ticket for saturday's game on Friday lunchtime and, as the postal service in this country can be unreliable at best, I asked them if they could keep hold of the ticket and I would pick it up on Saturday morning. The girl in the office said that wouldn't be a problem. So I went down the ticket office on Saturday morning to pick it up and the girl behind the counter looked a bit puzzled, which was a little concerning. After a couple of minutes, I told her that I had ordered it on the Friday lunchtime, but she nodded and still looked puzzled. She then printed another ticket off, which I found strange as I had already ordered a ticket which should have been in the trays at the back. I got back to my flat and on my doormat was another ticket. So I took both to the game, just in case and, as I put the newly issued ticket into the turnstile, it rejected. I put the one I ordered on Friday in the turnstile and it let me through.
New management, same old idiots in the ticket office

Must say, I have always found the ticket office to be very good. Got a ST myself, but whenever family members come to a game, which is often, the staff in the ticket office always get them seats close to mine. We ordered tickets for Wales v Norway on a Friday, they were with my sister on Saturday morning. Speak as we find, but credit where it's due

To be fair, I have had little problem but somebody I know living in Australia flew back home for 3 weeks to see their parents and as a surprise for his 85yr old dad bought two tickets to the City game on Saturday. They got into the ground fine but when they got there the seats they had been allocated were ST holders seats and people were already sitting in them.Steward moved them 3 times before finding a seat where no one was sitting but in that seat the people in front of them stood most of the game (not even in Canton) so they couldn't see much of the game!.

We had a funny one where a few games back two blokes bought tickets right in the middle of the Canton Stand and were then moaning about everyone standing up! Lol. In the end someone just swapped seats with them. In all fairness the one bloke was in no state to stand for the entire game but it was obvious we were in the standing section and their attitude did stink.
Quite often around by us if someone turns up and find they're stuck in the middle of the standing area, people either offer to swap seats or the people move forward to the front. That's the camaraderie of the Canton Stand!
