the poppy for our country shows a sign of thanks to our veterans for the sacrifices made on our behalf in war
but in china the poppy represents humiliation at the hands of europeans in the opium wars at wearing it angers the chinese
FIFA's move is not ignorance but responsiblity in its role as a world body
there will be a minutes silence so its not as if it is being ignored or forgotten
and before anyone starts I have served for this country I am aware of the significance but im also aware of the impact theses symbols have on other countries

I think FIFA has the right idea. Why the need to display a poppy on the kit??? If you want to show your respect, buy a poppy, be silent for the one minute that matters. Don't go round demanding a poppy to be stitched into a football kit and have one minute's silences day before Remembrance Day. It's a joke and makes a mockery of Remembrance Day itself.
How are they using it as a gimmick when they are auctioning the tops off and giving the raised money to the Royal British Legion!!!As an active member of the Royal British Legion I feel that there is no difference between a poppy on the shirt and a black armband as both are marks of remembrance. So why does FIFA think that one is acceptable but the other isn't.
Absolute disgrace and its about time FA's stood up to Blatter

No I didn't miss your point I just don't agree with it. With regards to where I find the time I enjoy helping as many worthwhile charities as I can. The country would be a better place to live if others had that mindset.

I don't have an issue mate, a bit like you don't have a sense of humour
Well I never thought that its funny that someone has to work three jobs because he has to take someone to court to get the thousands owed to him from a business deal.
