Okay I just saw JonCandys photos, and it looked alright. But while watching the MOTD and the football league show, It looked nowhere near up to standard in comparison to other clubs.
I mean the pitch at the KC looked great, as well as at the liberty. (Both also have rugby played on them) and i believe we are the only one out of the 3 to have a 'revolutionary' 3G pitch. Personally I can't see the benefit as it looked terrible last week for the cup clash.
I thought the 3G pitch was laid to stop 'cutting up'. It seems to break up rather bad in football games, let alone rugby games. Old Ninian never had such a problem. Back then we were always considered to have the best pitch in the league.
Whenever I drive past the CCS on numerous evenings per week, the lighting system always seems to be on, and still to no avail IMO. Is it a case of groundsman not being up to par or what? does somebody know what the problem is?

The pitch looked fine especially considering the sheer volume of rain we'e had over the last few days, wasn't the egg called off the previous evening just down the road?

Lol yeah, and what a terrible job they were doing to try and shift the water. you see it? should have held numerous hoses under the water, and then siphoned it down the drain. well thats how I would have done it any way.
