Just had a quick browse through the topics and I can't seem to find one on mark Hudson? I thought he had a superb game today especially after his clash with turner and is now sporting the worse black eye I've seen! Maybe if he was to blame for a dodgy pass or slightly out off position we would have page after page slating him! 2 clean sheets in a row speak volumes, hes 1 off the best centre halves at our club , a little credit where it's due wouldnt go a miss fellas !

Totally right, it seems that City fans love to have a fall guy and Hudson has been tagged with it, no matter what he does sometimes it is not enough for some.
I feel he is doing a good job alongside Turner and the partnership is building to good affect.
Hudson is susceptible to the odd mistake maybe even one a game like Pursey was but their mistakes are highlighted as they are often the last man and centre of goal but overall he is a very good defender

I honestly believe MM is now selecting our strongest possible side and system, apart from replacing Hudson with Gerrard or Blake. All players are prone to mistakes and errors but some are more prone than others.
Whilst Hudson has leadership qualities and is a brilliant reader of the game, his lack of pace and reaction time are fatal flaws which are often exploited by opposition forwards.

I think what OP is suggesting is he's hung drawn and quartered when he makes a mistake, but not one thread of praise when he does well......i would of thought both go hand in hand TBH. Lets be fair, Hudson seems to be the consumate professional so a few threads on a MB is not going to effect him in the slightest.

Well I'm no fan of Hudson but his gutsiness playing on against Derby has given me a new
found respect for him, so...
WELL DONE FOR YESTERDAY HUDDERS
