This guy is an absolute tosser he thinks he can watch a couple of match highlights of cardiff and give analysis that whittingham is better wide on the left, he scored 30 odd goals from there a couple of seasons ago SO WHAT....he's probably set up/broke up 30 goals this season already and only in Nov now ...he is a central midfielder all day long orchestrating our team with superb vision and accurate passing...SO PISS OFF YOU FOOL...YOU KNOW f**k ALL ...

Many on here said he is not a centre midfielder. I have been saying for ages that it was his best position and he needed to be trusted to pull the strings. Not many agreed with me to start with but I am guessing more do now.

personally i agree with claridge, for me whittingham should be out on the left, yes hes good in the centre aswell not doubting that one bit but get him out wide put mcphail with gunnarson or kiss in the centre, whittingham can run rings and score for fun out left all day long and still set up players.

Are you thinking of McClaren?
Claridge is a hopeless pundit on a hopeless programme that shows how much the BBC care about sport in general.

Maybe but he got this one wrong.

He's not a bad pundit but the program tries to cover too many games to give any value.
Perhaps they should just concentrate on the Championship?

But its a opinion and he is entitled to do that Chief. Some would agree with him and some wont.

im not a fan of claridge either, whitts is not a winger for me, he pulls the stings well as he did yesterday

I thought Saturdays game was the best I have ever seen Whittingham play, he was at the heart of everything. If he plays like that every week we will have a job keeping hold of him. Playing like that gets you noticed, not 25 goals.

It makes you wonder just how much these pundits know! they try and give there points of views on so many different teams across all the league when there is no way on earth they have watched them enough to pass comment! he was probably repeating something he had heard elsewhere!

I like steve claridge! He's got to get through a lot of games in a short amount of time on the football league show! Its the program format that's shite, not claridge in my opinion
