Gwyn i have the worlds worst legs, current ankle and groin injurys. are you any good with these? really need help as my doc just says rest it and the groin has been bad since april and the ankle often reoccurs

I had it in 2008, never looked back, I snapped 2 of the main 3 i think so they had to split my calf muscle, drill holes in my ankle and thread it through to hold it in position!

Back playing football and might start rugby again to!

Its much better now than 20 years ago.........but dont expect to much it will never be as good as new.....but mighty close with the right surgeon.Good luck

had my ankle done 4 times know last time was march this year at st woolos hospital just had the tibular and fibular screwed three times and ligaments attached back on to ankle and its still not right they are going to operate again and do the left ankle when the right is sorted also when i was 17 years old seen big gwyram down the royal gwent hospital as well in

Had my face screwed back together in the royal gwent......busted jaw in 2 places....did a top job did'nt even have to have my teeth wired together.

Thats the one! Ive been told I could be back playing football in 6 months, is that doable? Also how long were you in plaster for after the operation?

Cheers Denzil! The guy doing the op is involved with the footballer club and has done similar ops on the players in the pasts o hopefully he can get it close to as good as new!
