i dont see the issue with bellamy etc. he has always been 'for the good of welsh football'

swansea in the prem is huge for welsh football and he is merely saying that, and comending them for doing well and olding there own, on behalf of his country.

he would still rather a cardiff win than a swans one but wales is his number 1.

i really dont mind swansea doing well too, aslong as were doing better

Well said, its the fact they're above us that is the killer . true be told I love both of us to be in the Prem.

Oh get a grip. Liverpool is a much bigger draw than we'll ever be and we should be thankful that he tried his best with is last season and move on .

Pathetic post.

He’s been interviewed for a Welsh sport programme and asked his opinion on Swansea as they are doing well in the Premier League. He even says “I know I'm Cardiff and would I much prefer to see Cardiff doing it? Of course I would.”

Where is the problem in what he’s said.

It has been good for welsh football, as we’ve seen players such as Williams and Allen really step up and produce great performances for Wales in recent games.

i never said liverpool weren't a bigger draw, however, bellamy said he would only ever play for man city and cardiff..........not getting into this again, he's a liar so f**k him.

He was never negative about the Jacks, why would he start now? Didn't stop him getting the winner against them did it?

Exactly I even recall in one of his first press conferences for us him saying how important it was that a welsh side got to the premier league, even if it was Swansea.

He's also the previous Welsh captain so cant be negative about Swansea, who are, whether we like it or not currently the top Welsh club.

Craig Bellamy is your typical school boy who grew up in the 80's or 90's
laughing at the words cardiff city,

on numerous occasions he would of said cardiff city are crap and he supported liverpool,

Grow up and get a grip. Its a football game and a Job and no-one would turn down a offer when you get far more money, play/work for a much bigger organisation for doing exactly the same line of work, No-one, not even you. Don't give me the shit about loyalist, being a fan or a lair. Christ there a lot of people not even loyal to their partners, never mind their employer and have the cheek to moan at players leaving Clubs

on numerous occasions he would of said cardiff city are crap and he supported liverpool

Through large parts of the 80's City were crap , and I know many City fans (fans that go to the games) that support a Premiership side . What is people problem with that , I do not know

Stop talking such utter nonsense. I'm simply saying that many people go to watch Cardiff City and Support City through and through (thanks to being their local Club) , while also supporting a club in the Premiership; Mainly down to has children growing up they watched an old division one side on the TV and liked them as kids and it's just carried through.

You cannot support two clubs thats just nonsense.

I liked Liverpool as an 80s child, but once I was old enough to do my own thing and started going to watch Cardiff then theres no way you can divide your loyaltys between two clubs.

I hate LFC and everything they stand for now im old enough to understand football.

You really do need to grow up. But judging by your comments I think that sadly you will still have the same attitude when your old. Just a sad individual lacking any real intelligence.

Re: Has Bellamy lost the plot ??

I would have had no problem in Bellamy going to LFC, infact, i would have wished him luck, the fact remains he spouted a load of bullshit to us last season and for that he can f**k off! if he hadn't spouted all his bullshit i would have wished him well, and thanks for the memories of that season

You need a reality check Pal, I know plenty of lads that have been following Cardiff and another club for over 30 years, some years they have followed someone like Man Utd and gone to the odd Cardiff game and then some years they have followed Cardiff mostly and maybe gone to the odd Man Utd game, it really depended upon how bad Cardiff were and on other things like the craik following clubs at certain times and the friends they were travelling with.
I reckon a healthy minority of cardiff fans, say 30%-40% have a soft spot for one of the bigger premiership clubs and have either gone to watch them at some point or folllow them from the armchair. Im sure its the same with most supporters at clubs outside the Premiership.

Soft spots I can understand, I like watching Spurs, but how can you possibly follow two clubs????

I mean why stop at 2, why not follow all 92 football clubs and then whoever is having a good season you can go and watch them that season.

Polo,
It is very simple, I can follow two clubs because I CHOOSE to do so. It matters little if you believe I can or not. I have followed two NFL teams for years, when they play I certainly cheer for my local team, but they do not play often.

It is a simple matter of people can do what they want, and your opinion is not going to disuade that fact.

No bother and if i CHOOSE to think people who follow more than one club are weirdos then that is also MY CHOICE.

Of course people can support and love 2 Club's and not just 2 football clubs, but other sports as well .
One Club would be your local and where you watch them each week and then you'll have another Club that would loved to watch on TV as a kid and still like to watch them on the TV and still support them now just not physically going to their matches - But hey there's many so called City fans that don't go to watch Cardiff home games either.

I know many fans that will watch the City game live at the Stadium, whilst having a big interest in the results from the Premiership (mainly their boy hood Teams)

He has stated he prefers CCFC but has in a round about way praised the jacks and whilst it hurts me to say it he has actually spoken the truth and Swansea deserve to have credit for the way they have settled in the PL (still hope they go down). He has made himself out to be far bigger than the likes of Huw Jenkins, Alan tate and to a lesser extent John Hartson who constantly use the media to slag of CCFC and snipe at us.
