Jay Bothroyd on the scrapheap in January???

The Daily Mail have this morning reported that Qpr will make an £8 million pound bid for Jermaine Defoe in January. Since Defoe has been on the bench a fair bit this season for Spurs I bet he may end up joining QPR. But where will leave Bothroyd? I'm not sure he'd get another opportunity in the prem? What do you all think the future would hold for Jay should Qpr sign Defoe?

There is no way that Malky would have Bothroyd back even on a free! Personally i think hes a fantastic player but Malky wouldnt touch him with a bargepole

Scoring goals in a play off final was not a problem, it was keeping them out of the other end.

How many times was he on the bench for us after he made his England cap?

He come off the bench last Sunday and got QPR back in the game. Wouldnt surprise me if he was back in the starting XI this week.
