Derby County 2/11/11 My day report

What can i say about this Day ? Mad Derby Woman, Great Lager, Malibu, Coke, Half Pints, Drunkenness, Psychiatrists, Psychologists,
I started my Drive up to Derby at mid day and arrived at our Hotel at 3 which was right next to the ground. Whilst waiting for Marc to arrive i went to have a look at the ground and there Club shop. When in the Club shop i was approached by this Woman decked out in Black and White with a clip board and she asked me are you a Derby Supporter ? No i said !! Yes you are she told me !! No i am not i replied Yes you are she said again I am a Cardiff Fan i told her No you are not she replied Yes i am No your Not She said Yes i am Oh she said well someone has to and she then stormed off

I then went back to the Hotel to freshen up and wait for Marc who soon arrived, booked himself in then it was down to the bar for some Vier Lager, a few of those slipped straight down then it was off to the Harvester to meet Bakerdalasker.
But the fella did not turn up Cheers Ian. The whole Pub was packed with Derby Fans and we got chatting to two Lads and one of them was a Bluebirds fan living in Manchester. Hello Scunthorpe bluebird He normally posts on Mike's board but occasionally browses on here. He asked our user Names and when i said mine he said "SO YOU ARE NUCLEARBLUE" I never know if one Day some one will deck me when they find out who i am

We then walked ten minutes to the ground and i was finding it very hard to walk in a straight line but when we get to the ground we make our way up to the very back, Where a load of Lads who were very witty with there chants. I started off one Man went to Mo and i was loosing my voice half way through but i was determined to finish it (Well i was rocking ) We went into the Lead Kiss i believe scored and Marc Knocked my Glasses off but i didn't realise until half time when i was in the concourse and i had a text a could not read it. Took a while to register my glasses were missing I raced back to where we were standing and there they were Phew.

City were taking Derby apart and our support was first class everyone standing and singing we were now winning 2-0, The chants were funny as feck Then the third one went in and all the Derby Fans got up and left so we started singing "Is it a fire drill" chant Oh how i love these away games, All the players came over at the final whistle and Malky Oh how that would not of happened last season .

It was then get a burger and back to the hotel Bar and it was packed with Derby apart from 8 or 9 City. Two of them a couple who live in Leeds one a Psychiatrist and his Girlfriend a Physiologist, hasten to say he diagnosed Marc and myself with the worst form of being totally mental But they were a great laugh and we were all drinking until 01.30. By then i think we were hallucinating and that would explain Marc's Claim i was drinking Malibu at one stage. But the Sod bought me a half Pint (totally staged) and then took a photo of it. Set up like a kipper ut hell i did get a photo of his Coke bottle though

A great trip with brilliant company, feeling rough today but well happy with the result, and those Scummy Leeds getting battered just put the icing on the Cake.

Has to be said mate, It was a cracking night ....The mad Derby woman story (the way you tell it) had me in stitches,
City winning with a great performance, the atmosphere, the lads at the back with us, who along with us never stopped singing, having a chat to Saddam who's a top man , but the best moment for me was the players coming over at the end and the passion of Malkay who punched his fist in the air at us made my f*cking week ...

The fire drill chant was class, along with a few others ..we never stopped singing ... The harvester pub where we met Scunny Bluebird and his mate was a good shout (Cheers Bakedalasker )......I didn't think of getting Ians number and was waiting and looking for him but he was on about a different Harvester ..(Ian you tool )....Must say the Derby fans which I talked to were sound as f**k ......The hotel afterwards with the Psychologist and psychiatrist was mad .......We were steaming and I'm f*cking glad I booked today as an Holiday....Same for Coventry Nukes

Ha ha Chief I started Men of Harlech as well. I was suprised as quite a few actually started singing it as well . Will have to persist in that one
