Was it actually a free kick? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought the free kick Leeds scored from was the one where Gunnarson slipped over on the turf and the Leeds player tripped over his leg as he was falling over. Both players had to go off and Leeds scored from the resulting free kick after poor defending and uncertainty in the box.
How is that a free kick if Gunnar accidentally slipped over and the guy fell over his leg? Not his fault!
Maybe Mason pushed O'dea for our goal but the guy didn't complain.
Good point today

Free kick it looked on the TV.
Taffy Apple got excited by your post , he thought you were discussing Kav's great free kick, his first ever City goal live.

I thought the same. It should have been a drop ball. Ref got it wrong and we should have had the win.

I couldn't believe hudson had a go at Marshall when they scored , was hudsons fault the player got his leg in front of him to score

Absolutely agree, although when you add the Leeds goal to those 2 late ones for Barnsley last week, it doesn't take a genius to work out that there is a huge problem with our defence dealing with crosses delivered from wide areas.

Wether it's deliberate or not he still obstructs him and it is a free kick.

Fully agree with Dentons comment about Hudson and partly agree with Tony's comment but also wanted to add that during his time here Marshall has had an issue with crosses althrough a fantastic shot stopper.
Sorry MG I didn't explain properly as that was part of the point I was trying to make. Whilst yesterday's goal for Leeds was Hudson's fault, Marshall does have a habit of flapping at crosses (the play-off final being one that springs to mind) and as such he is not commanding the penalty box as he should.
Hence the 2 goals last week (& Leeds one) which was a combined failure of both the Goalkeeper and the back four to deal with the high crosses into the box from wide areas

If MM carries on playing Hudson and McPhail then that time might not be that far off, as we are playing every game with what amounts to 9 and half players and that's bound to catch up with us before long.

Hudson was right to have a go at him, Marshall should have had it. Anything inside the 6 yard box the keeper should be taking out friend and foe to get to it. Marshall was man of the match but he should have done better with that one.
