How on earth is the worst centre half in the championship still captain of our side under two different managers - answer - must be in his million pound contract because HUDSON is crap!
And Darcy Blake is catching cold sitting on the bench.

Perhaps 2 guys with hundreds of games experience playing pro footy in defence know something you don't.
Or maybe the fact he's better than Gerrard, Gyepes,Keinan or Blake ?
Difficult question.

He is a good defender on his day
Maybe Cardiff dont want to drop someone who is on massive wages?
Maybe there hoping by playing him, he'll come good
Loads of maybe's

pro-footy, parks footy - it is all the same thing, if you are over 6 foot and can't attack a ball, head a ball or pass a ball you are crap - no matter what league you play in!
3 years we have put up with his inefficiencies so I am now resigned to thinking he has a clause in his Charlton million pound contract - that he is captain and plays no matter what.
Some of us saw through him straight away - that's why we've had years on the football circuit. That's why Charlton went down conceding more goals in one season than ever before - common theme - HUDSON!!!!
Its not rocket science!

Here's my view on Hudson
09/10: Poor
10/11: Very good
11/12 so far: past catching up with him
What's the difference out of those 3 seasons? 10/11 season Hudson was not captain due to Bellamy signing maybe being captain puts pressure on him. but who would captain the squad this time?

Oh here we go, more f*cking rubbish about Charlton.
They were dire, 7 centre half partners, kids and players put of position. It had nothing to do with Hudson, still no chance of you actually researching what happened there when you can make a lazy assumption eh.
You'd made your mind up before he even signed. You were probably one of the fans who were blaming him for errors celarly made by Gerrard in the first few games- and a few have done it this season too.

So many managers been so wrong about him, if only they listened to the minority of fans

What do you think Malky sees in him, after all he has no loyalty to him just someone he's inherited.

I just think he sees him as the best alternative he's got.
But Turner is SO commanding at Centre-half maybe Malky
will think he can give Darcy a chance? Who knows?
One thing for certain, out wide on the left when Ross skinned
Hudson and he got booked... had that been Darcy... Ross would
have ended up in Row Z

Fair comment and i'm far from sticking up for him but i can't think of many centre halves who are comfortable when caught in wide positions. If i was Malky i'd wanna know what he was doing out there.

I honestly believe that Hudson will be gone at the end of the season, when Malky came into the club it was obvious that he had to rebuild a decimated midfield and strike force with a somewhat limited budget. I believe he knew we had a weakness in defence hence he brought in Turner and is trying to make the best of what he has at the club and maybe he will re-address the problem at the end of the season when he has his new budget to strengthen the squad but as things stand we are still short in midfield (wingers) and strikers. I believe Malky will have his scouts looking far and wide for a new CB or 2 in the summer to finally get this leaky defence sorted.
Mark Hudson is one of the most experieced Centrebacks we have at the club and its easy to see why Malky is picking him, the problem is he is prone to defensive mistakes and its costing us. Hudson conceded the foul on Becchio and it was Hudson who was at fault for the goal, people are quick to blame Marshall but as a defender you have to attack the ball as it comes into the box, if your going towards the ball and the keeper shouts then leave it. The way Hudson just stood there as the ball bounced was comical, he should have at least tried to stick a toe on it but it looks as if Marshall is going to take the flack for it.
Overall though a very good point earned, but yep.. Hudson needs to go !!

I think Hudson is one of our best two CBS but agree he will be gone. His wages and to high.

Hudson, Gyepes, Gerrard and Blake are all out of contract at the end of the season.
Ironically Keinan still has another year. Maybe hats why Malky is saving him

Blake given another year.

I tend to agree - Gerrard will leave if he doesn't get back in. In fact I'm concerned by his 'tweets' that he's looking at the end of the season already.
Gyepes has to go for his own sake and hopefully it'll be in Jan.
I'd expect Keinan to stay if Gerrard goes.

Yeah, MM won't let them all go unless they are replaced.

Taylor was to blame for the goal. Was in front of his man when a rubbish ball to edge of area got played in. Taylor didnt even jump and the attacker won a ball he should never have won and flicked it on into snodgrass path.
But hey lets not let the facts get in the way of a good witchunt.
