about 20 got ejected, and 100 have walked out and are now protesting outside the ground apparently. Anyone heard anything? sorry if this has already been posted.

Not saying that it's correct but All seater means All seater and that is the regulation at football grounds. We are no different to any other Club and are not subject to any allowances above the law.

Then it should be that rule for everyone, regardless of who you support.

Maybe except Man Utd, eh??

away fans rarely sit down in our ground....
Mon Oct 31, 2011 7:01 am
The Leeds fans both sides next to us yesterday were standing throughout the game.
The stewards were terrible yesterday.
£36 a ticket, no beer, forced to sit down and a big half empty stadium.
Leeds is a shithole I wish I stayed at home.

Yeah, but they've had their allocations cut, too, apparently

the way the stewards carried on was a disgrace, when politely asked why the leeds fans were aloud to stand I couldnt get an answer.
The worst offender was a female "supervisor" who was literally even squaring up to city fans and running to the police when she didnt get her own way.A clear case of a position of power going straight to someones head.couldnt even enjoy the game with the constant barking from all the stewards.
From having 3 police officers to every fan at the services to being parked up in what was basically an iron cage to the ignorant stewards and ticket price it was a terrible experience,i work 50 hours a week, pay my taxes and am law abiding and felt like i was beuing treat like a dangerous criminal
love the city but will definetly be cutting down on away matches next season and no way will i be going anywhere near elland road

Man Utd took 3000
another thing is that I was at the front row of the away fans, and i was told to sit down, and when I asked why there was leeds fans standing to either side of us we then got the answer sit down or your out of here, we argued with the woman supervisor until we were blue in the face before finally sitting down and even when we celebrated the goal i was standing up and clapping and cheering about a minute later was told to sit down again
Frustrating, i don't blame the 100 or so city fans for walking out but i had payed thirty six quid a ticket and i was not going to miss the game, although we were abysmal second half.
This woman steward supervisor whenever clearly has had all her so called "power" go to her ugly little head.
rant over

I hope everyone will fire off letters of complaint to LUFC, the Police, the company who provides the stewards and also the company who licences them.
Rather than boycott next time, we should take 2,000 and trash the place. Treat people like animals and they will act like animals.

One problem with the letters of complaint. Their chairman is Ken Bates. Allegedly

I'm not sitting down, I'm not sitting down, thirty six quid a ticket, I'm not sitting down!
PS - To that woman in the yellow leeds shirt to our right who stood up and sang on her own...
...Your just a fat sl*g from Yorkshire!
childish but the look on that big horrble lump's face was hillarious!!!

i was there yesterday, stood throughout the game, didn't have any hassle off the stewards but i saw the city fans getting chucked out. i can safely say i won't be in a rush to go back to elland road.

Yep, great idea. We get treated badly up there so let’s trash the place to ensure we get treated even worse and have far more ridiculous restrictions placed on us in the future

but how can we get treat any worse than yesterday ? apart from maybe being put in straight jackets and chained to our seats,i can totally understand peoples frustrations. I thought the city fans showed admirable restraint the way the stewards were wading in and that female supervisor getting into peoples faces like that was disgusting and cowardly as she knew full well she had full back up from the ignorant yorkshire police.

there was a lot of people who were obviously bullied at school "working" at elland road yesterday

The stewards were on a power trip yesterday. Had one standing at the back of me who looked like Ali G and had a really bad attitude. I didn't walk out because I'd travelled by train and with 10 minutes to go it seemed like there were as many coppers and stewards in our section as City fans, No drink in the ground before the game either was another joke. Some funny chants yesterday especially to the mouthy female Leeds fan with the specs. Shut her up anyway and even the Leeds fans next to her were having a laugh. I also like the shoes off if you hate Swansea song. It was boring being locked in after game as well, glad the Leeds mascot was on the track to shout abuse at. A shit day in Leeds and with £36 ticket and £88 train fare

an expensive one as well.
