How was it Marshalls fault???? Hudson was martking the player and did not get a foot in!

Re: Hudson is a liability

The goal was the fault of both Hudson and Marshall.

Ideally, Marshall would give a good clear shout, and come out for the ball while Hudson protects him from the attacker coming in.

In reality, it didn't look like Marshall called for it or wanted to come for it (even though I think it was his ball to take), Hudson assumed he'd be coming for it so left it, but did nothing about the attacker.
Hudson can't decide that the keeper should come for the ball. If he doesn't get a shout he has to deal with it.

Assumptions are the mother of all f**k ups!! hence why Hudson should have done what Turner did near the end and smash it out of play! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

When is everyone going to realise that Hudson is our weakest link, I've been saying it since the carthorse joined us but for some reason some people seem to be looking at his game through beer-goggles, he was at fault, yet again, for the goal today just as he has been at fault for "most" goals that we concede
It's time to give Gerrard and Blake a run IMO, come on Malky, so far you have done most things right but you have to see through this donkey.

You are 100% right, i mean, what the f**k does Malky know about being a centre half....oh wait, he was one.......what does DJ know about being a centre half.....oh wait, he was one to.......what do the ex-pro's in Don Goodman know about championship football.......oh wait he played in it for 15 years........ok ok what does kevin phillips know about football, ahhhhh dam it.....im sure ill find someone who has a credible knowledge of the game that would slate Hudson's performance today (apart from all the above who said he was fantastic today) as for the goal, the ball was 3 yrds in front of Marshall, and he didnt come for it....he shit out, before you say it, i agree he was MOM as he made some awesome saves today, but you lot would blame bird flu on hudson if you could....its f*cking pathetic!

Oh dear, here we go  Malky wasn't playing as wasn't DJ, Don Goodman or Kevin Phillips but Hudson was, I stick by what I say as do most people above this do, Hudson is a LIABILITY, of course that is my opinion and I know fuckall really
as for the goal, it was Hudson's to deal with 100%, when the ball was delivered Hudson was in front of Snodgrass, how the f**k did he get in front of Hudson to score, I suggest you have a look at it again. I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore, its my opinion and I will respect yours.

Myself and a few mates thought Hudson was poor today (again) we watched it in the pub, he fouled McCormack on a number of occasions, got caught out of position when he picked up a sinical yellow card, didn't push the line up and after numerous replays saw a number of faults he made, personally and in my opinion I think he is a liability and am still wondering what Darcy Blake has to do to get a game ??

After 43 years you should know better then.

Hudson should have doen better for the goal for sure. But overall we were 2nd best and he had an awful lot to do. Try looking at the midifled as they were completely over-run today despite playing 4-5-1.

Some of our fans are an embarrassment. 'He is shit and always has been' - what a load of bollox. A guy made captain by Malky, Jones, Taylor, Curbishly, Dowie,, Warnock, Coppell .... FFS

You might be 'entitled to your opinion', but if its to slag off our players i'd rather you stuck it where the sun don't shine. :ayatollah:

He had 7 partners at Charlton. They were in shit street with financial difficulties and injury problems all over, having to play kids and players out of position. So of course it was all his fault. What about when he took Palace up -funny no mention of that.

Nothing like jumping to conclusions though is there ?

He's played 100 times for City, surely thats enough to judge on what you YOURSELF see.
Probably a bit difficult for the ones who don't go to games, but for those who do then he's been a decent player for us.

He wasn't great today, but by absolutely NO MEANS was he our worst player. McPhail, Whittingham, Conway, Taylor, McNaughton all lost their battles, but no mention of any of these ?
