dont forget the issue we had at the fa cup final with the FA saying we would not play in europe regardless of the result

It was agreed that we would have been in Europe had we won the FA Cup.

but wasnt that down to uefa intervention after the fa said no
why do we need special dispensation
and if we do need these involvements whats the point in competing in the fa cup and carling cup

to win trophies and have some decent games and trips. you think everyone who competes in these cups are only doin it as they can play in europe if they win. its good enough to win the trophy to be fair.

I have no doubt we would qualify if we won it.

we will have to play either
liverpool
man utd
man city
chelsea
or arsenal over 2 legs ... its a bit of an unreal task, but the never the less.. not impossible if we draw home first and win by two goals
(.s) I'v dreamt we played liverpool in the latter stages of a cup 3 times this season
