On the pitch we played well and deservedly won the match with a real battling performance against those northern cloggers.
Off the pitch we are still getting it wrong. The publicity for cheap tickets was poor (the club actually asked Annis to publicise the offer 2 days ago). The club should be using its website and the s wales media (Echo, Real, Capital etc) to broadcast the prices.
There were also ridiculous queues at the ticket office at 7.30 last night. There should be a few cash turnstiles at Canton End and Ninian Stand.
The club ran out of programmes as well losing out on income.
I know i should be focusing on the positive but if the club gets it right off the pitch then everyone benefits as greater income is generated and maybe Malky can bring in an extra wide player.

I arrived at 7 having spent 3 hours in the car and was served within 5 minutes. I went for a pint in the Ninian and by the time i came back at 7.30 the queue was a few hundred long. I'm sure a fair few will have walked off and been put off coming.

11,000 was a good gate for a midweek game with pissing down rain and not the most glamorous of fixtures . A lot of people have work the next day (thankfully I had the day off) and with the rain, the late dark nights and the prospect of extra time and penalties I can see and understand why even some of the most loyal fans choose to stay at home more so these days with house hold bills under so much pressure. If this game was a mid day weekend Kick-Off for the same price at the Gate - I'm sure the gates would have been vastly different

We both know that if it had been Man U, Scousers or Chelsea that 26000 would have been there.
