Does anyone know the prize money for the Carling cup

I am guessing we are up to a few quid by reaching the quarter finals? What I am thinking the prize money so far could sanction a decent loan signing,plus as we are minnows I should imagine a TV spot next round?

Not as much as you'd think.....

The prize money is awarded by the Football League - The winners of the Carling Cup win £100,000 and the runners-up £50,000. The losing semi-finalists each take home £25,000.

i think the real money will be gate reciepts for drawing someone big away we get half the gate i think
