The guy is a piece of crap.

All this bs about his torture of remaining in the closet, fearing teammates reaction... everybody in Welsh rugby has known of his gayness for many a year, hell I first heard of it almost 20 years ago. Still, he has to make some money out of lying, eh?

Harsh.

I would imagine it is very difficult to come out in a masculine environment. How many footballers have come out? Not many considering the amount there are I would think. Are they lying too are they or just protecting themselves and their families.

Gave his all every game.

:ayatollah: Thats for Alfie

Missing the point.

It isn't about him coming out to the public - nobody else's business.

When he rambles on about the anguish of living a lie... not coming out as he didn't know how team mates, others in Welsh ruigby would react... he's a f*cking liar. Bridgend certainly knew. Virtually all in Welsh rugby knew, it was hardly top secret. Hence his comments are utter bollocks to gain attention / make money.

Footballers come out? Why should they? It's absolutely nothing to do with anybody else.
