TRUE STORY ABOUT HALF TIME WAYNE

I kid you not and it was even covered at the time in the Echo if you care to check. This happened about seven years ago when half time Wayne was more commonly known as insane Wayne and was one of the leading lights in the Valley Rams.
He had taken his dog to a dog grooming parlour and was told to pick it up in few hours time.
Well him and his son picked the dog up paid up and put him in the car to take him home. Wayne later went on to say that the dog wasn't best pleased with his new look and was growling at him and his son. He even went to bite his son.
Went they got him home, the first thing the dog did was have a shit in the lounge, which was the first time he'd ever done that.
Anyway a few hours later he had a call off a distraught dog grooming parlour saying to get back there ASAP and bring the dog.
When he got there he was met by the owner and a young couple who weren't too happy because he had taken home their dog.
His excuse was he didn't recognise the dog because it looked different after its haircut. The owner of the parlour even sacked then the girl who worked there, and blamed her for giving him the wrong dog, but as she said she thought its would have recognised it because it wasn't even a similar breed.
True story and to good to even make up.
