I thought he was outstanding
He may not be the fastest or most lethal finisher yet but his movement against Barnsley was spot on.
His runs were timed perfectly, stretched the game and created room for players like Gunnarsson. Cowie and Whittingham to get in behind their defence.
I dont think that Earnshaw coming on was what caused us to stop having any attacking threat for the end of the game, i think it was Joe Mason going off.
I would stick with him in a lone-role up front tomorrow, instead of Earnie and Parkin as has been mentioned.
Anyone else agree or not?
