Been there for Crimbo. Weather is 16/20 degrees. parks are heaving it is the busiest time of the year. We went for three weeks and kept away from the parks until Jan 3rd when the crowds are greatly reduced. Go to celebration village one night, on main street it snows every hour.

Granted the Disney parks puts on a nice show for the kids if that is what you plan on doing ( Disney bores me stupid mind ), but Universal Studios, Sea World etc may as well be any other day of the year.. It just seemed everywhere I went, be it attractions or even somewhere like Old Town ( popular shopping and eating destintion ) off the highway 192 in Kissimmee, the locals Floridians forgot that it was even xmas time.
I wouldn't recommend going over for xmas if you are planning on going there for any other reason than to get away from the British cold weather. Florida ( can't speak for the whole of the USA ) just dosen't have the vibe or the feel of a nice British xmas with friends and family..
Me and a few of my friends who have been during the Xmas period swore we would never visit again during the xmas period, I strongly advice the same to you mate as it was a big let down.

Depending where you stay villa or hotel George and dragon I drive was brilliant Day and nite. Sea world - bush - and islands of adventures but to be honest been going so many years see all the new attractions added each year bush as another new ride now - I play lot golf out there so don't do parks so much tend to skip them unless new rides
