I got off. Check the criteria on the web regards where the mobile vans are allowed as this must be a designated entry zone (ask to see the evidence of the number of incidents that must have occured over a given peiod of time). There has to have been so many crashes/fatalaties etc to warrant where they are located. They must put speed camera signs up within x amount of miles prior to entering the designated point where the camera is located. The mobile van must be liveried and visible to the oncoming motorist. I am sure there is more but keep being persistent and request a picture of the van to confirm livery and documented evidence that the van they say was liveried was logged at that location. There comes a point when it is not cost effective for them to keep responding. Best of luck

i was caught doing 36 in a 30. by a camera that was a simple white van you would normaly see on the street. all that was different was it has police on the doors.

i was offered a speed awerness course, they took ages to tell me that they haddnt recieved my information. They sent me a letter it was basicly saying reply back or we will file for 3pts and £60.....rang them ...told me they had recieved it and the letter was sent in error :x

for all them delays i had to complete the course within a certain date so had to drive to neath and spend 4 hours listenin to a guy talking about speed, idenftying speed in areas with no speed limit signs.

It was my first offence and i was caught with the GUN.... i had contemplated a challenge of the offence and asked to have the Gun Callabrated as if it is out in the slightest notch they have to drop the charge, however my Tachograpgh at the time of the offence i was doing 38mph so on that note i am happy to take the course.
What annoys me though is i was zapped about 200 Yards from joining the A1 which is at 50mph zone.
