MILLIONS GET YOU NOWHERE IN THIS LEAGUE

Sun Oct 23, 2011 10:45 am

It proves again this season that spending ridiculous amounts of money will not work

Look at Leicester for example, not reaching their potentional and are wavering mid table. Im not saying that they cant gel in the future and push for a title challenge, but when i saw the game against Cardiff, i thought Leicester were average

Same with Ipswich .. there bound to be paying massive wages this season with .. JET, Bullard, Chopra, Andrews, Bowyer on there books. They seem to be doing ok, but nothing massive

Whereas Cardiff have spent around 2m and are looking pretty good this season, we have had some scrappy games, but we are providing good entertainment. Hopefully the back 5 can sort them selves out and manage to string a couple of clean sheets but at the moment i am pleased at our position in the league.

Lets just say, id rather have our squad and team spirit than have leicester's millions and ego's.

Glam, its all about the backing now that the club give MM.

We know we have the team and spirit, but we are still very light on squad numbers, 4 players needed IMO. Winger, Striker, CH, and back up for Cowie.....

Would still like to see Darcey be involved at CH maybe with Turner though.....

hard working moddest teams always get rewarded in the end, :ayatollah:
look at the championship recent years, norwich, swansea, blackpool, stoke

I dont believe in ex prem players if they're not past their peak there is a reason they are not in the premier league, always better off with hungry, younger/ or lower league players
