Yet another moaning post from you. Most fans look at it as us being a new team 1 point from a play off spot and 4 points from autos as a good thing. You really need to get your head out of your arse. Your either not getting any or just have a sad life

Yesterday was one of the best games of football I have watched in a long while, extremely entertaining.
However, MG I totally agree with you we should-not get carried away as Barnsley were awful yet still managed to score 3 goals against us.
Malky has had a honeymoon period but some questions are beginning to be asked and a worrying trend of picking his favourites is beginning to immerge i.e. Scottish players getting preference, Hudson over Gerrard or Blake and the recalling of the hapless McPhail.
If MM is going down that route then we have Dave Jones mark II. What I would like to see is Malky growing some bollocks and dropping Hudson would be an ideal start.

Hapless McPhail? The McPhail who ran the show yesterday? The guy who, when we took him off, we lost control of the game?

I'm still trying to work out McPhail. Yes he ran the show yesterday but he usually does against the weak teams. I've yet to see him do the same against the top teams.
Unfortunately he has been ravaged with injury so it is difficult to judge him as you need a good run of games to seriously be tested against the best. However the fact he can be good against the weak from returning from injury well lets hope he is around a lot more for the big tests when they come then we will see what he is made of.

As usual Ian you are ahead of the game.
Great point I have previous asked this question, when has McPhail had a great game against better opposition? He is ususally remembered for 2 great displays against Derby, the one at Ninian Park which we won 4-1 (the Gavin Rae pass) and the one at CCS when we won 6-1.
In both games Derby were ravaged by injuries and in the 6-1 defeat they didn't have a recongised centre-back playing once they incurred an injury early on to the only fit one the had.
That apart we here about him 'running' games even though he never scores and rarely offers an assist. I don't by this compsure crap as that usually means being caught in possession in this league.
He has had loads of injuries and that means he is not mobile and that has shown up hundreds of times in the past as teams have steamrollered through the midfield by easily by-passing him or just beating him for pace.
As a long term option we are looking down the barrel of a diaster and I just hope that Malky knows this.
