The first time I saw Johnson play I thought he would one time captain the team .

There's a lot more to come from Turner. He is still building his match fitness and he's going to score a few set piece goals as well

Wouldn't say he's the new Roger Johnson because they're both different types of players but he did play well today and looks captain material :ayatollah:

So is it Mark Hudson who is the weak link as CB, to let in 3 goals at home is terrible. Dont get me wrong Id take 5-3 every game if it was last 5mins.

agreed...

also really liked the look of mcphail just sitting infront of the back 4.. gave gunnarsson a chance to get forward a few times and look at the results...

still not overly impressed with conway at the moment.. maybe he hasnt fully recovered from injury, however he was much better today than last week...

Yeah McPhail was my MOTM today! But all 3 of the centre midfield we're outstanding McPhail cleaning up the play keeping it simple, Gunnarsson box to box solid defensively and a threat going forward and Whittingham cool as you like picking out passes from short and long range and can play that decisive ball that tears defenses. The more these 3 play together for the whole 90 minutes, the more games we will win imo! :ayatollah:

Did anyone notice turners distribution?

I thought it was very assured and he had 2 fantastic diagonal 40 yard passes into the corners which were absolute class.
