Earnshaw

Obviously people will say all this is negative but thats what this forums about, discussions and different opinions. I think that Earnshaw was a gamble as he has had his best daysand isnt nothing like the player he was when he played for us before.Yes HE WAS awesome in the past I just think we could of gone for a younger striker.Hopefully he can start banging some goals in soon though as Mason and Gestede seem to be taking their chances well.

i think he still has the same ability the problem is he cant run himself into the ground like in his early days, getting older you pay the price, prime example being ryan giggs, knowing when to run and when not too run

what i love about earnshaw (and miller) they are both 30-31 but can gaurantee on them pulling one out of the bag when its needed most big game players.

IMO he shouldn't be considered for the first 11 atm, he's just not cutting it and seems less fit than most of the other players, I would prefer Mason or Gestede everytime tbh. Bluebird legend and a genuine nice guy but bench at best for me. :(

I honestly think now that Earnie is no more than an impact player. Say if we need a goal in last 20 throw him on and you never know he could crop up with a goal. I mean look at when he came on vs the jacks in the play-offs, he nearly won the game for them!
