well this good news i thought he played quite well at Blackburn last season and could be that other holding striker we've been looking for.

Would be a very good signing in my opinion, pacey, strong, always making runs and giving 100%

already been searching
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfe ... 17659.htmlwe're expecting to pay £14,000 a week for him but personally i think it would be worth it

It states he is on 14k a week at United and we would be expected to pay half of that. Now ffs let's pray the board back MM and deliver before this story puts the rest of the championship on red alert for the player. TG sort it out, TG TG sort it out!

already am praying, surely the board have got to realize this bargain if we do have to pay 7k-14k a week and we defiantly need another striker considering Rudy's out now and Parkin is bottom of the list in the picking order. But im not praying just for this player for other loan signing as well but patience is virtue.

I'm not sure the article does state he's on 14k a week - it says:
"Cardiff are keen on taking him into the Championship, but United are looking for the Welsh club to pay half his wages – around £14,000 a week."
This is somewhat ambiguous - you could read it as 'his wages are 14k a week' in which case we have to pay 7k or 'we have to pay 14k (ie. he's on 28k)' - I reckon it's probably the latter.

Having read that article I've changed my mind - looks like he's on 14k so we would pay 7k. To most people that would be an enormous wage but, in the ridiculous world of players' wages and given our striker situation, maybe a good loan signing and not too expensive.
I know next to nothing about him but he did score a hat-trick in his first game on loan to Blackburn against Norwich in the League Cup and scored 6 in 29 games for them (3 in 26 in Premier League) so should be able to score at our level.
I'd like to see us get him given Rudy is out for a while and I can't see Earnie scoring on a regular basis.
