Lowest crowd of the season?

Fri Oct 21, 2011 9:57 pm

I think our crowds will start to dwindle, although with 18k season ticket holders they will never be less than that.
We desperately need to get the season back on track, although I expect Barnsley to provide a stern test and fully expect another draw.
Crowd, just scraping the 20k barrier at 20101

They are already dwindling as nearly 4,000 season ticket holders never turned for Ipswich home.

It's going to be a tough game I think. I am too confident.

More like the clubs loss in their income streams

What, the season ticket holders who haven't turned up? Very minimal

i got a horrible feeling we may see our first league game under 20k today..

i really hope not...

come on city fans..

the club and team need our support.. how can they drive on without it.. how can we bring in players without us spending the cash on tickets etc...

can't believe some season ticket holders dont turn up, personally i think its a waste of £200-300 quid. The three seasons i've been a ST holder only missed one game cause of a serious illness. We need as many supporters turning up at the moment cause tbh we need to egg the team to get a win cause i think thats we need a good win today and win tuesday may be the start of a win, but of course both are tough games imo :D :ayatollah:

due to finances i cannot afford to buy a season ticket never mind show up to the stadium.......as it will cost me around £20-£30 to even get to the stadium ...... then another £20 odd for a ticket..... and i cant seem to get a job at the moment with everyone giving me the same excuse "we aint hiring at the moment sorry" when they really mean " we are hiring but we just dont want you because we dont like the look of you"............ last year i went to 6 games and that was HELL of a lot for me...this year i think i will be extremely lucky to even make 1 game, and thats a big ask

Dont let it get to you.

Ignore them who judge you by how many games you go to. Lets hope they dont end up in the same situation as yourself. Good luck in finding that job.

I'm a st holder and I've only been twice this season due to work so I give it to someone else. If I'm not there to cheer the boys on someone else is. More st holders should do this, the ticket is paid for so let someone else make use of it if you can't

Would benefit the club more by those people going and buying their own ticket. If we have to rely on people wanting freebies to turn up, we may as well change our name to Cardiff Blues.

I can understand some people can't make it because other commitments and really should of included that is my previous post, because now you probably think i'm stubborn prick  I'm just saying this because i knew someone last year who worked his ass of to pay his ST and then only turned up to two games and his excuse was "cant be asked tbh" or "Man U are playing can't be bothered". But i agree if you can't make the game for what ever reason don't waste you're money and lend it to your mate or whatever.
