Never Offside in a million years...

Thu Oct 20, 2011 6:58 pm

Just watched the goals.

Thought the Penalty look harsh but the winning goal was no where near offside.

No good having a go at the ref.

Shocking defending!

I've only just got round to seeing the highlights, but your are right the winning goal was clearly onside.

I paused the highlights just after the pass was made with the ball half way to Taylor and he is definitely onside then, and probably a couple of yards onside when the pass was made.

Unsure about the penalty. Tried pausing it but the picture is too blurred.

I didn't know people were claiming it was offside, looked fine to me.
Pen was harsh but I'd have claimed it the other way.

Player was onside no doubt about it thanks to Hudson ball watching and not stepping up with the rest of the back four.

Terrible defending by the man charged with organising our defending. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Have a look at the highlights again and you'll see Hudson try to play offside and get caught out:-

Correct, though I would sugfest no.27 plays Whitts on when we had one chopped off.

Hard to tell from the BBC footage, but it certainly looks like he was level or onside!
