Firstly they stabalised the finances, invested heavily last season and saw the British disease of piss heads and prima donnas blow it at the end. Wouldn't that make you a bit wary??
They decide to start running a new business style to the club, appoint a new manager and bring in new squad and back room staff. Now yes they could splash out but are watching how the new manager gets on. We have seen MM has instilled discipline, pride in the shirt. We are approaching November and as i recall nothing has ever been won then??
Come January i think we will be 'in th play off' mix and then the board will have assessed the manager and team and decide on further investment. I think that is prudent ownership.
We said we wanted passion, work ethic and appreciation - thats what we've been given.
Now lets be patient and trust.
