IS MACKAY BEING DICTATED TO ?

Wed Oct 19, 2011 7:44 pm

Malkay has stated that he wanted to bring in players during the loan window, but since then its gone very quiet and now all of a sudden it is because players are not suited to us or are not available etc due to the Carling cup etc etc. Excuses are being made at a time when we are desperate for more quality, so is Malckay being dictated to by people higher up within the clubs hierachy and being told what to say to us fans, what do you think. :?:

I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory - I honestly think Malky is being patient, waiting for the right players.

We are a good, although not outstanding, side, and even with the players we have may be in touching distance of the top 6 by January. I think he may prefer to buy players then, rather than loan players now. Unless he thinks he can loan someone who might sign for us permanently in January.

He's been offered players but has turned them down,I think he's waiting for right ones,u look around and there's not many quality players going to championship at the moment.

If he is then he isn't the manager I thought he was.

Thats the theory i prefer to go with. The other option, that there is no money, would mean
that both Malky AND the owners are lying to us. I think its wrong to label them liars without
a shred of evidence

The trouble is at the mo though that Premier teams who Malky has obviously targetted for potential loan signings are still in the Carling Cup and using these players so therefore no way can any be loaned out until they have exited the competition . Nov is the last month for loans ........ then the Jan window is just around the corner , personally I dont think the money that was supposidly there to sign Bellamy is indeed there coz if it was then City would have signed him !

Midfield general, teams are not loaning players out, name one striker who has gone on loan to the championship that u would have signed for cardiff,or any player for that matter.

Michael Kightly of Wolves (Gone to Watford). Maybe not a striker as such but the type of player we are missing.

They would only let knightly out for 1 month, and mackay didn't want that.

I agree I like him but Cowie and Conway doing the business. If its for one month whats the point to either sit on the bench or would piss off Conway or Cowie

He has plenty of assists and a good goal return together with a good work rate, IMO our best signing this season.
