And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

My dear stickywicket if we have come to a position where we need the likes of Parkin to rescue us,then boy we are in deep deep trouble, can you remind us how many goals he scored for Doncaster?....look real problems demands real answers,Malky must now bite the bullet and secure at least 2 quality signings very soon,no more excuses by malky or any of the rosies on here will do anymore,if our manager is unable to add to our squad, then he must be upfront with the fans and tell them why

According to Polo and Midfield General this club is in crisis, someone once told me that's when people turn to scripure to help or something. Those two seemed apt. :ayatollah:

When I threaded 'Where is My Quality Loan Player' I believe you ridiculed me with added ha ha,

Here though, you almost underline my request for a 'Quality Loan Player(s)', albiet with a veiled attack on Malky-
have you changed or do you just like the wind up????

im not sure if you are a prick or an eccentric ;)

Parkin has a few games under his belt now so I think he will be in the squad at least, if not tomorrow certainly against Burnley next week.

Mind you he was born in Barnsley wasn't he that just may get him up for the game tomorrow. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thats a trick question surely..? Parkin has NEVER been given a chance at City beating in mind he scored for fun in a poor Preston team.[/quote]

scoring for fun is the biggest overstatement you have ever made and you know it

I think he's been given a tough rub by a chunk of Cardiff fans, to say he offers nothing is very harsh. If you're low on strikers throwing Parkin up top and seeing what sticks is a better plan uh?

Plan A) (4-5-1) Miller
Plan B) (4-4-1-1) Miller - Earnshaw
Plan C) (4-4-2) Gestede Miller
Plan D) (4-4-2) Gestede Earnshaw
Plan E) (4-4-2) Miller Mason
Plan F) (4-4-2) Mason Earnshaw
Plan G) (4-4-2) Mason Gestede
Plan H) (4-5-1) Gestede
Plan I) (4-5-1) Mason
Plan J) (4-5-1) Earnshaw

K, Parkin is a great plan K. Special K maybe.

Re: Jon Parkin

If Gestede and Miller are both out with injury then my choice would be Parkin and Mason, if Miller is fit then I'd go with him and Mason. Saddly Earnie's looked way off the pace recently and seems a metre slower than his defender, watced him warming up in the Ipswich game and he looked disinterested tbh, a much loved bluebird who for me isn't cutting it atm and sadly would prefer Parkin to start.
