Fraud and deception, at least 4 weeks have been put aside for a crown court case. Whitley has had to stand down being a solicitor till this is all over.

Got told today that Whiteley will be chief exec and will be helped by Doug Lee (Finance Director) and Iain Moody(Head of Recruitment)

The club have saved themselves a bit of cash by not bringing a new guy in.

If Gethin is on "gardening leave" until May 2012 - we are not saving that much money by appointing within. Don't forget that Whitley will be paid a salary for this job as well.

So in my opinion not a money saving exercise just an improvement in personnel and parctices.

Personally I would have thought that Mr Whitely should be concentrating all his time and effort in dealing with what appear to be extremely serious charges against him.

Surely our Cheif Executive needs to be concentrating all his time and effort on the club without such distractions and whilst we must stress that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, if this gentleman IS found guilty, is there a possibility that he could face a jail term? No the greatest publicity for the club should that happen.
