I just think we have had enough of overspending now and need to start cutting back the debt or at least living within our means. The thought of having HMRC at our doors every month and trying to wind the club up every month is not a feeling I ever want to go back to. I honestly believe in the next 3-5 years football as a super billion money business will collapse and the clubs that survive will be those who can look after themselves.

Luke, when last season finished I went to the shareholders meeting with TG there and he said again ' we want promotion and by that we mean automatic. '

Annis. Did we spend? Did Blackpool, Burnley and Hull? Maybe these guys are thinking that way? Ok they all went down (bar us. we will stay up because we're special like!) But unlike the other clubs mentioned you will have the added bonus of some financial muscle should you go up. Maybe they no longer want to spend with no gaurantee of reward. You've got a good guy in Malky to take the alternative route. Though I agree he needs to be backed more than he has!

Rob, very true with your comments there, but the Malaysians if they want promotion they will have to spend.
