These egg-chasers are all mouth about being Welsh, but none of them seem concerned about our game against Swizerland, or the one in Bulgaria on Tuesday. Bet most of them never go down the City, never mind away. Just come on here to have a dig. If you all love egg-chasing so much, surely there must be a few 'specialist' forums that you can visit, and leave this one for CCFC fans, and the occasional Jack.

If egg-chasing is so wonderful, why do they have to come on here? This is a Cardiff City and football forum.

Rugby 'world cup' ? you're having a laugh

No of coarse it dosen't. Rugby is a topic that is in the news at the moment. Soon it won't be mentioned on here, which is spot on in my mind :ayatollah:

Nothing else to talk about on here at the mo,due to no new faces coming in at the City + the international break.

Must say that 5p for a bag to get your shopping home thread is a winner ;)

All mouth about being welsh! m8, your a clown, slagging off egg fans because they don't support welsh football by calling them basically not welsh, on the same token you not supporting welsh rugby is exactly the same! MORON!!!

Football is my main passion (i hate international football), but i'd support wales if we were in the world final soggy biscuit contest!

I'd like to see Wales win as I'm a proud Welshman. I'm not looking forward to the blanket coverage, though, but it's the biggest rugby competition in the world so I guess it should probably get the coverage it's getting.

But to say it's Wales' national sport is just ego boosting, chest thumping from the rugby brigade, really. If it was Wales' biggest sport and the national sport, the Blues would get more than 8,000 a game and nearer to our 20,000 plus a game

Agreed, regional rugby support is pants! And watching my beloved scarlets is like watching paint dry in a morgue when compared to watching my beloved CCFC.

Trouble with the "regions" is, not many people wanted them and now feel no affinity to them. When we should be having derbies week in week out, we're playing the likes of connacht, Aironi etc. None of these teams bring an away following because each away match would cost a small fortune with flights, accom etc. This results in a cack atmosphere. Add to that the fact that most games are on the telly, and fixtures are all over the place. I remember the time when fixtures were 2.30pm every saturday afternoon without fail.....crowds were far improved and a regular following was built as a result of this. Also, many of the regional fixtures are played on the same weekends as internationals, meaning the regions often put out 2nd and 3rd string XVs, which only does more to detract the crowds. There is no passion with these new regions, people simply don't give two hoots if their team loses, unlike when CCFC lose, and I fell the pain for days. Until these issues are addressed club (regional) rugby in wales will struggle.

I can't see what the issue is with rugby.... I've supported Cardiff City for over 25 years, man and boy :old: , home and away, but equally love nothing more than watching the Parish(Maesteg RFC) on a Saturday afternoon. Yes the two sports are worlds apart when it comes to international competition, and I do tend to agree that a lot of people that attend the rugby internationals are there purely for the event rather than the game itself, as I know hardly any of the boys from the rugby club bother to get international tickets and prefer to watch it in the club despite us all being eligible because we're season ticket holders.... but to not support Wales purely because the ball is a different shape seems insane to me... as has previously been said on here, I'd support Wales even it it were in a soggy biscuit throwing competition... So come on boys... we take enough crap off the English without turning on each other, so shouldn't we be sticking together, no matter what the sport.... :ayatollah:
