After 10 games

Always a good time to judge where we will end up come the end of the season.

So we find ourselves in 9th place but is that a true reflection? I can't say because as far as I am concerned it has not been quite fair in us this season. This is mainly because of the injuries we have suffered. Last season was bad but this time we seem ot have gone that bit further.

When you round up all the games I would say we had our fair proportion of luck against West Ham but all the other games a few of them we have been a bit unlucky with specially at Hull. Putting al biasness to one side I would say we have been unfortunate so far.

Looking over all of the games I would say we have dropped more points than stole. The West Ham game we perhaps were lucky to come away with 3 points when we should have lost. Some will argue of course but hardly anyone will say we deserved the victory. The other games we have gained 3 points from we deserved, Bristol City, Doncaster and Southampton. Leicester was the only draw at home and that was about the right score as well as the lost to Brighton. It is on our travells we have dropped points such as at Portsmouth where we could not hold on having deservingly going ahead. Hull I feel we were robbed of 3 points by the linesman. At Blackpool we should have won the game by half time so definately 2 points dropped there. As for Burnley a draw was the right result.

As for the standard we have played well half of those teams are top 6 like Brighton, Leicester, West Ham, Brighton and Sothampton. Expect those ot be challenging come the end of the season. We have played 2 teams that I believe will be fighting a relegation battle, Bristol city and Doncaster. The remaining 3 teams are mid table with perhaps one of them an outsider for top 6, that being Blackpool. So on average we have played above average.

Summin up I would say we are on the outskirts of a top 6 place but without the injuries could quite easily be comfortably in a play off spot. Will the injuries we have now give us too much work to do come the business end of the season? I cant answer that.

Good post, I feel we should have got all 3 from Blackpool, the Hull game was always going to be an uphill battle after Miller went off injured. I was happy with a point against Leicester considering they were all over us, the Southampton game was a cracker and we deserved those 3 points :ayatollah: ....I'm quietly confident for the Ipswich game, any news on the Injuries?? :ayatollah:
