FM12 Demo

Anyone had a go at this yet? I just played my first game of the season and hammered Brighton 6-0. Miller bagged a hat trick and Gunnarsson unleashed a 25 yard rocket.
One good added feature is the way you can talk to players, you are given a choice whether to say something aggressively, assertively, passionately, calmly, cautiously or reluctantly and the way you say something generates a different reaction from the players/team.
The match engine is much better as well showing different camera angles depending on where on the pitch the ball is. I selected Gunnarsson to take the throws for instance and when he did his run up to hurl a long one in, the camera went behind him to give a good view.
Very impressed so far, although I don't want to get carried away and say it's a bit easy just yet, if I say that I will probably lose my next game.

Well he's spent 750k on Turner and Miller, 250k for Mason and whatever compensation for Gunnarsson etc, I reckon Malky has spent over 2 million easy, but when replacing 12 players you need to spend a lot more than that to bring in the quality needed for promotion. Malky needs extra backing now, otherwise it'll be a mid table finish imo.

Those players are already in the squad though on fm so its those players already brought in plus the million. If Malky is given that he would be able to strengthen in our weaker areas and we would reach the play offs imo.

Yeah, good point, I think Malky will be backed further in January as long as he shows the Malaysians he is the man to take our club forward. If we are in a good position by the end of December, I am hopeful Malky will be given a couple more million to strengthen, he definitely deserves the extra backing and we definitely need it.
