No promotion, or administration?

Sat Oct 08, 2011 11:46 am

Just a statement really to the fact that the way our club is being run ( as a whole), seems to be going well. We spent too much time pushing and spending loads to get the dream, which put us near admin an the loss of our club.

I think that mm need backing a bit more and I think he will get it. But if not I see it is for the greater good!

We are being run as a modern day professional business aswel as a football club, and I for one am very happy with that! Our time will come, I still say we are sleeping giants. VT will raise the alam when the club is ready.

Would be nice to push a bit harder this season but you're right.

If we have to wait a bit longer while we build a strong club and assemble a squad of players who will give their all for City then it will be worth it.

You're right. Not breaking the bank this season is also good preparation for the financial restrictions being imposed on the championship next season (as that's where we're likely to be). Then when the likes of Leicester and west ham will be forced to kerb their spending, and we've consolidated this season, we'll walk the championship next season....simples!

Well its good that we are being a bit tight on the financial front instead of wasting it on the likes of JLS and Thomas and Koumas and the likes :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think the business model being put in place here this season is the way forward
for the Division.

I also see a lot of these 'mega-rich' owners getting a bit bored with Football Clubs
when they are forced to play on a more level financial playing field. Would Abramovich
have ever bought Chelsea if he thought there would be restrictions on his spending?
