Sky Sports are reporting we're hoping to get free agent David Hopkirk in for training. Though, with Bolton, West Brom and Brimingham having a look, our chances have got to be fairly slim, at best. But, stranger things have happened!

I heard we are sniffing around ex-Arsenal trainee Mark Randall. Now if we get him and Hopkirk we would the coolest midfield in the Championship.

He's been on trial at WBA and is supposed to be on trial with City next week.

To add to that he has also been invited to Ipswich, Bolton and Blackburn. Very hot prospect by all accounts.

He's Oz's nephew mate & turned out for the UCS last Saturday morning.

Ah ken! Oz had been in touch for contractual advice between the two leagues as he was trying to get him into Budgie's plans til xmas but was unsure of the retention and other laws.
