butlins big weekend

any one been to a butlins big weekend (18+) weekend ?

wheres the best one to go to ?
whats the best party ?

this was mentioned for 1 of the possible venues for a forum piss up weekend. so would be interesting if any one has any info on them

I used to work at minehead on the funfair and used to love these weekends lol its a none stop party from friday - monday even for the staff lol loads of women , next to none trouble . but i would say get to tesco early an buy loads of beer as the pints are expensive lol

I am off to minehead on the 70's big weekend a week friday for a stag fri to mon. Mates who have been on them before gave glowing reports although they were not glowing after 3 days on the piss lol.

we will stock up on plenty before leaving Cardiff. would probally need a transit van just to transport the supplies down for us

The adult weekends are a good crack especially as you cant go other times of the year as a single sex party. They start at around £80quid for fri-mon if you can chuck 3 or 4 to a room..

Went 2 years ago for the 70's weekend had a ball to be fair but if i was goin again i'd try and go for the 90's one

Been there loads of times, dont matter which weekend it is, its one big party. Beer in bars is expensive and shite so tank up before you go out and swig bottles out

if we had a party of 10 march 23rd-26th for the 90's reloaded and had 2x3bedroom room only it works out just under 80 quid each.
i only done it for 10 people just as a guide

single rooms would cost about 200 quid each
with the breakfast and dinner thrown in

i went on the family one, and done my stones on the 2p slot machines

we use the same website as you mate,

only difference is we can take lower deposits, dont need all the names at time of booking and sometimes we get exclusives with abit of extra discount on the website prices..

we did a booking for a stag do of 22 people for the march 90's reloaded weekend and it worked out at 79 per person with a 25 quid each deposit..

best thing, check the butlins website then phone your local thomas cook to see if they can get you some free places or a group discount.

also you are entitled to an extra 5% discount for being a cardiff city supporter through the holiday clubs.. cardiff city also get a % kick back on the booking off thomas cook so everyones a winner..
