So who is coming to the big game this Sunday 2pm Kick off ?


The Mikey Dye memorial match takes place " this Sunday October 9th 2pm kick off at Bryntirion FC " We have the teams ready and everyone is geared up for the match.



There is a supporters bus that will run from CCS to Bryntirion FC leaving the stadium at 12.15pm, due to restrictions on parking I would advise at using the transport provided.

Jason Perry and Scott Young will be coaching from the sidelines on Sunday and going through formation and tactics with our players before kick off.

Malky will also be there showing his respect and watching with fellow supporters


The Barry horns welsh supporters band will play before kick off and this is going to be a fantastic family day out, bring your family, children and friends to support the cause, let's do everyone proud in front of the television cameras from Sky, ITV and BBC. We have got the backing and support of Cardiff City Supporters Club with Vince Alm and other members will be attending and thanks to Vince our team will be wearing Cardiff City's official kit. I am hopeful that supporters trust come along and give their support too.

Bryntirion FC bars will be open from 12pm from their clubhouse on the day, food is available to buy also. The club even moved and rearranged one of their fixtures to accommodate our game.

There will be stewards supplied by Bryntirion and volunteers from both sets of fans on the day to make sure that everyone has a pleasant day and enjoys themselves.

The match balls have been bought and sponsored by Reeco's daughter from Swansea, thank you very much.

All 24 of the Swansea City supporters who are playing on the day have paid their £10 entrance fee to play.

There is an entrance fee of £3 and all proceeds will go the Mikey Dye fund.

The Mikey Dye Memorial Cup has been kindly donated by Cardiff City development coach and owner of S+R Trophies in Port Talbot, Steve Green, many thanks Steve.

Mikey Dye's wife Nathalie and his children will be at the game and Chrissy his son will play also. If you have no plans for this Sunday then please come and support Mikey's family and join us at the game.

Everybody (and I mean EVERYBODY) pulling together to put this on has warmed my heart, it really has.

I'm in work in Caerphilly until 1.30pm, if I got there at half 2/3 would I still be allowed in?

I was talking to one of Nat's brothers today (he's my boss) and he'll be driving her there. As I'm sure you'd expect, she may not be able to stay until the end, as it may be too upsetting for her. She appreciates the phenomenal response to the tragedy, though and it has lifted her a lot. Sadly, they still haven't released Mike's body, so the family are unable to arrange the funeral yet. Hopefully, they won't prolong the agony much more.

I would have had a game but as I went to Hull I was too tired and hungover to make training the following Sunday. I might still turn up and watch mind, should be a great day.
