OT/ Mobile phone advice

Thinking of getting either an iphone4 or a HTC Sensation. Whats the difference?

I like taking pictures and the HTC one is 8 megapixels as opposed to 5 on the iphone

I got the samsung galaxy s2 taff and I love it, wicked camera and does everything I want it to do. You can also buy spare batteries for it cos these new phones dont last long and it has 8 mega pixels

Oh aye, the HTC has got an immediate memory for the pics, so it doesnt have to
reload after you take a pic. coooool beanzzzz maaaaan

the announcement on the iphone 5/iphone4s is in 40 mins at 6 o clock, maybe you shoudl wit an hourr then decide. its due to be released in two weeks i hear

Alright Dave you wreck head! There isn't a dramatic difference between a 5 and 8 megapixel camera, unless you like to print of pictures onto a larger format. The reason apple have only 5 is that it is easier/faster for users to upload pictures online or send via text etc...

Android is gradually becoming a market leader as its very easy to use (like the iphone)) and has an app store to rival apple. (admittedly not as many apps though) Android is basically google, that's the money behind it and I feel it won't be long before they compete equally with apple.

I am an apple user and always will be. The phones designs are 2nd to none and their clever marketing (or lack of it) keeps me hooked. I must say I have no issues with any iPhone I've ever had and get no iPhone fault issues in work, although all too many HTC's.

Ah nice one matey. I never knew that about the megapixels. So HTC are prone to
f**k up eh? I may wait til December see whats happening. My lad got a HTC Sensation
today, so i'll wait to see how he gets on, hes a bit of a technophobe

i would never have anything other than an Iphone.

every now and again a phone like the sensation will come up with one or two features that might just edge the iphone but it still consistantly has 20 + more features better than any of its competiters.

its no coiincidence that apple is the worlds largest electrical company above IBM and microsoft.

just wait for todays annoucement and the world will go iphone mad !!

Well basically the Sensation, Galaxy S2, iPhone 5 (iPhone 4S) all have dual core processors (which is awesome for phones) - The Galaxy S2 and Sensation both have 8 megapixel cameras with 1080p (best) HD video recording, whilst the iPhone 5 is unknown (announcement within the hour).

The Sensation only has 1GB internal storage, the Galaxy S2 has 15GB (ish), and the iPhone 5 is unknown (as above).

I use the Galaxy S2 myself and it's brilliant

The sensation is over priced in my opinion, it's not the greatest of HTC's. It has a small internal memory of just 1gb as opposed to applies 16gb +! a customer came to me today, she had the phone three days and it was riddled with faults. It does have a 1.2 Ghz duel core processor though, which is the most powerful to date...doesn't make much of a difference in my opinion.

o0o0o0o siri voice control! I wont be getting it, yes it has lot more changes in terms of software, but im a sucker for visual....seeing as its no different ill stick with my 4 as it is. I would strongly recommend to other people however.
