i've spent a fair bit of time over the last day or two e-mailing and telephoning various radio and tv stations to try and get a lot of publicity for the match on Sunday. Would be intersted to receive feedback if you hear it mentioned on any radio or tv channel over the next few days.

I completed an interview with Swansea Sound this afternoon that went out on air to advertise the match in their catchment area. They were only too pleased to here of the work that the likes of you and Carl had done in bringing together both sets of fans and the way in which bridges have been built between both sets of fans over this tragic event.

Your ball you donates, is going to be raffled with other football stuff later this year at the Brunswick Pub in Merthyr and everything raised will be passed on to Mikey's family

Have been advised today that the details of the Mikey Dye Memorial Match have also been posted on the Real Radio website under events in Bridgend as well as being mentioned on the Real Radio show yesterday between 10-11am.
I am now looking for a contact name and telephone number for a Swansea supporter who has been involved in arranging the team etc from their side so that i can pass the details to BBC Wales so that they can conduct an interview.
A further chance to get some gfgod publicity for this great cause and both sets of supporters also.

I have been contacted today by Catrin Sion from BBC Wales who wants to run an article about the match on her Welsh language bulletin. She would like to interview someone with the necessary Welsh language skills. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Yes its certainly getting out there now and im hoping to get Derek Brockway the weatherman to announce it on his weather forecast on BBC Wales News tomorrow night at 6.30pm.

Just this morning received confirmation that HTV Wales will be there with reporters and cameras on Sunday. Seems like the match is becoming big news.
They will be looking to take some footage of the fans and the game and to talk to some people who knew Mikey Dye. This is a great opportunity to show how everybody has moved on and also to put the record straight on a few things.
I am still also looking for a Welsh speaker who can give an interview to Catrin Sion to go out on Radio Cymru at 1pm on Sunday. Anybody able to speak to this lady then please pm or e-mail me and i will either give you her contact details or you can give me your contact details and i will forward them on to her.

For the Record I was today reported as an organiser of the Mikey Dye game on BBC Wales despite clearly telling them all that I was just a fan helping out with publicity. Still, that's the press for you and what a great day.
