The Fans Let Riddler Off The Hook

Tue Oct 04, 2011 6:51 am

Spoke with trading standards last night - during the conversation asked how the riddler got off the charges of the golden ticket scam .

Very simple he replied - evidence was strong enough for the CPS to take it to court , but when it came down to it the Cardiff City fans who had made the complaints - when it came down to it were not prepared to go to court and back their statements - hence we had to withdrawal the case against Ridsdale . Another fine example of keyboard warriors .

Only 12 complaints out of 15/16 thousand shows how everybody felt really, more pissed off than anything else hardly conned because we still had a season ticket deal which we could have backed out of,as we were able to pay in installments, so with all the doom and gloom surrounding the club,at that time,we decided to support the club regardless,More in keeping of loyal supporters than angry "keyboard warriors"going to take our club to court because they hurt our feelings,Christ,we could of sued our club for masquerading as a football team right through the 80's and 90's. :ayatollah:

Yes I was told by a trading standards guys a year ago that the case against Riddler was good. Because he made it public that the money would be used for players from the sale of the tickets he had entered into a contract with the ticket buyers. So who let him off the hook ? the fans that was kicking up all the shit about it.

What was the point of complaining in the first place then, it sounds a matter of letting others do their dirty work.

We had that copper on facebook writing shite about City fans. Very provocative statements and I made a complaint with about 20 other people saying they would also. Did they bollocks. It was just me who did it and as far as I can see fack all came of it.
