No idea but the nickname gave me a chuckle.
I haven't lived in Wales since the mid eighties but still can remember...
Dai Boot............took the kicks for Brecon Rugby Club
Dai Book...........Traffic Warden
Dai Bando..............Supplied fruit machines or one armed bandits for us old uns
Dai Puff................liked the odd "ethnic" cigarette, alledgedly
Sure there's hundreds of others, probably a book in this somewhere, anyone know any authors

great guy one of my best mates from the football old days. still see him now and again. he picks and chooses his games nowadays
