Hope that he'll be OK. Could not believe it on Saturday when a bloke behind me said 'Kenny's injured' He's experienced enough to know at once if there is a problem. Can't help wondering, though, if this new fitness regime is so good, why so many of them have got muscle injuries. :(

Is it the fitness regime or is it the players not warming up properly. Most injuries have been sustained early on(or soon after coming on as a sub), there was no problems early in the season......

PtB - good points, but surely warming up properly is part of the fitness regime. Also silly challenges, Conway for example, what's the point? Remember Mark Delaney saying that he was not going to change the was he played. Fair enough, but he was always injured. Our friend Steve Tucker makes the point today in the WM (if you can find it in the middle of all the egg)that losing two strikers is unfortunate, but losing three is careless. In other words, be careful. Same goes for silly bookings, like Bellamy for Wales against Montenegro, thereby missing the Wembley match. Our squad is too small, and there is no need anyway. We need these blokes on the pitch :ayatollah:

Training a lot harder has no bearing on it providing they warm up/down properly.

By the same token, players who arent as fit are just as likely, if not more, to suffer
from strains/pulls/tears and tweaks.

Just bad luck its been, and a build up of fixtures doesnt help much. No matter how
good your fitness is, the human body needs its rest.

(thats my theory anyways   )
