He did do wonders at Boro
Really gave himself a big reputation of being a good manager
Then when he managed England it all went down hill from there
I wonder if he really regrets taking the england job now
As he has now developed being 'the wally with the brolly'

It didn't go downhill from the England job, he won the title in Holland with FC Twente. And the Wally with the Brolly is years old.
It looks like as well as McClaren leaving, the bloke in charge of the club is leaving, too. He never gave McClaren anyway, which has been their problem

The only thing i'm sorry about is, that we have'nt pIayed them early on. Bet they'll be on fire, under a new manager, when they come to play us.

No you don't.
He's just another one of these managers at clubs that think they're far bigger than they are who seem to think they have no backing - no backing when he's been able to bring in the likes of Miller while having Findley, Tyson, and about 5 other strikers on the books, as well as plethora of talented young midfielders (McGugan, Anderson etc).
It's pathetic. Forest have backed Davies and Mclaren more than the very vast majority of clubs in this division, Cardiff included this summer, have backed their own managers.
And yet the fans have lapped it up and protested against the board. It's a joke. f**k the scabby cunts. God I can't wait for New Years' Eve.
